Hi Mike. You behaving?? Your queens are lovely, - do they all have one colour marking or does it change annually. See you at Stoneleigh maybe? |

Hello Mike I have to comment on how good the nucs you sent me are,
We received them in April and have now had 6 boxes of honey off them as you can see from the photo they are both boiling with bees we have never used gloves or smoked the bees. Once again thanks for your advice and brilliant service it has been well worth every penny.

Dear Mike
Thank you very much for your e-mail. I just wish to confirm that bees arrived today and have been transported here this evening to be introduced to their new hives. My father was very excited. Thank you very much for your informative conversation, for you prompt replies to e-mails and very good service.
Yours truly,
Aled Wyn Williams (on behalf of Elias Williams) |

Hi Mike
Hope all is well with you and your
A month on and it\'s all go in the hive. 9 of the brood frames are drawn and she\'s been a busy queen with tight brood pattern, lots of larvae and eggs. I\'ve got one super already on and it\'s well on its way to being drawn and there\'s been some good nectar flow by the look of it.
One question - you say on your website \"The breeding of the brood starts early in the spring and make big colonies so swarm control is a must\" - do you use a second brood box to do this? The reason I ask is that there were 5 or 6 swarm cells on frames yesterday which I\'ve removed, but I thought they might be feeling a bit cramped.
What d\'you reckon?
Cheers for now

Hi Mike, Just to let you know that my nuc arrived safe and sound, the bees were looking in excellent condition, after there long journey, and are now living quite happy in the Devon countryside, just on the edge of Dartmoor. Will always be a returning customer. |

Mike
Just to say thanks picked up my two nuc's from you at stoneleigh on saturday (saved me a good drive). opened up the nuc boxes to let them have a fly around then put them into my hives in the evening. these are my first bee's so was a little nervous opening them up, there was no need they stayed extremely calm on the frames as i moved them into my hives, i saw both queens running around on the frames so was very happy, i gave them a feed and left them to it.
I sat watching on sunday afternoon really exciting to watch them bring in bright orange pollen. so far they have been worth every penny.
Thanks again

Hi Mike,
Just a quick message to say thanks for such good service.
I transferred the bees to their hive early yesterday evening and today all looks busy but quite calm. Your instruction leaflet helped a lot.
I didn't find the queen but there was no sign of her dead in the box so I'm sure all is well.
Thank you. I shall definately order from you again in the future.
Regards,
Emma. |
