Our Wildflower honey is collected at the start of the season, during Spring and the early Summer months.
Known as “multifloral” or “mixed floral” honey, Wildflower is often used to describe honey varieties from miscellaneous and undefined flower sources. Its colour can vary from very light to dark and flavour range from light and fruity to tangy and rich, depending on the mix from the different seasonal wildflowers.
Our cold-pressed, light, refreshing Cotswold honey is collected from the blossom of blackberry and lime trees and a variety of wild clover flowers, hedgerows and English gardens.
Mild in strength this is a delicate floral tasting honey with a light fruity sweet taste which works well as a breakfast honey and is delicious spread on hot buttered toast. Wildflower honey is also a good choice for desserts.
